Ceramic Plate is known to be much more gentler to the hair compared to the other types of plate.
For those who have tried different plates, would know. X3
Other plates may cause more damage to the hair, and the aftermath (the texture) of the hair after using different plates are different. For my personal experience, ceramic plate gives a much more smoother/softer texture, and for those of you who are new to using hair iron, the "smoke" or more referred to as 'steam' is normal. :3
